Traditionally, analogue audio snakes used in live sound has been thick and unwieldy. In addition to that, the use of numerous sub-snakes were required too. Such traditional use comes with some traditional problems: hums/buzz, channel limitations, directional limitations, distance limitations, back-breaking work, maintenance, etc. The use of Digital Snakes changed all that. Digital Snakes have proven that you could obtain pristine audio quality, stability, low operating and maintenance cost, ease of deployment and many other benefits.
Stage monitoring is another aspect of live sound that has seen the introduction of very versatile Personal Monitoring Systems. Such Personal Monitoring Systems allow the Band to obtain their own precise mix in whatever venue they are in, with whatever systems they are using, and even with no monitoring engineer present. Precise stage mix, superb audio quality in true stereo and repeatable mix for every show is now achievable through the use of Personal Monitoring Systems.
In this Seminar, we will allow participants the chance to see what the rest of the world has been up to: Deploying Digital Snakes and Personal Monitoring Systems for Live Sound.
